My second favorite Who story of all time! It made the Daleks scary again and has some truly great and memorable cliffhangers. I love it and own it on DVD.

The Planet of Evil is the only Tom Baker story from the Hinchcliffe/Holmes era that I remember disliking the first time I saw it. I rewatched on-line in the last few years and my opinion didn't change much.

It's OK. It has the misfortune of being bookended by two the best serials of all time. It could have used a different title. When the only cliffhanger for your two-part story the reveal of a Sontaran, using the title "The Sontaran Experiment" ruins the surprise.

A good time travel film that has yet to be mentioned is The Final Countdown.

This movie has a MAJOR plothole. The housing development is built on the site of a graveyard, but apparently NO special measures are taken in design and construction. The filmmakers could have hinted at the eventual reveal, by dropping a line of dialogue stating that all the homes were built...

I'm not surprised. All of the other films listed are memorable. "Runaway" is forgettable.

The 1958 original is great. The 1959 sequel is halfway decent. This film however, is just bad.

Actually, this one isn't half bad. The fact that Vincent Price returned gives this legitimacy many sequels don't have. And I liked that they were actually able to . Makes the first film even more tragic.
