    Fun Star Trek: Enterprise

This was Bakula's second go with a sixties sci-fi classic and like the first one I don't think he pulled it off! The advertising at the time said that he was Kirk's hero and somehow I couldn't quite believe that! JB

    Review Thunderball (1965)

Martine Beswicke as Paula Catlin makes this her second or is it third Bond film and boy was she a doll! JB

Review Live and Let Die (1973)

Roger Moore's first outing as Bond is one of the best in the series! I think his fight with Tee Hee is terrific! Shame they discarded the henchman villain in the movies like Oddjob, Tee Hee and Red Grant! JB

Review On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969)

I love the credits at the beginning of the film which tell us that even if he looks different to Connery, this is the same guy from the other films! Plus another fantastic theme song! Whatever happened to the great Bond theme? JB

Review The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)

Caroline Munro was far sexier than Barbara Bach in the film! Those scenes of her in the bikini and when she tries to kill Bond in the helicopter are some of my favourites! JB

Review You Only Live Twice (1967)

Connery's death at the beginning of the movie with the sexy Tsai Chin also has Anthony Ainley (as one of the Hong Kong policemen) bursting into the room! JB

Review Never Say Never Again (1983)

It's a bit of a comedy film really rather than an out and out action film! JB

Review The Man With the Golden Gun (1974)

Christopher Lee was a great villain for Bond but somehow he didn't seem as dangerous as he was in the book! JB

    Review Dr. No (1962)

Ursula Andress is one of Bond's best women and Eunice Gayson in her shirt and nothing else playing golf in Bond's apartment and thick lipstick rocks my boat too I can tell you! JB

    Review Diamonds Are Forever (1971)

The Daniel Craig Bonds are for me just like all films made these days, too many explosions, too many fights and not enough stories and not enough sexy women! :emoji_scream: JB

    Review Vincent Price

Mad House (1974) is a cracker! Dr.Phibes double is great too! Plus the other couple of films he did here in the UK too! JB

    Review Blake's 7 (1978)

Sad to think that two of them are no longer with us and Paul Darrow, I believe is now in a wheelchair having had his legs removed. Very depressing! Looks like Pacey is happy to see Paul Valentine Birkby again too! :emoji_laughing: JB

    Review The Capaldi Doctor

Me neither! I wasn't a great fan of the RTD era but at least he gave us a few good episodes where as Moffat has accidently left with us three perhaps acceptable tales, none of which he knew how to end properly that or they were written by other people like The Doctor's Wife! I stopped collecting...

    Review The Capaldi Doctor

Well apart from the idea of a gender swapping Doctor being crap, I agree, although I hadn't noticed any mascara on her eye lids! I thought the scene with Capaldi talking to himself was as corny as hell and it was just a waste of time put in because the show was running short! Can't say I think...

    Review The Capaldi Doctor

Well I can't say I was a fan of any of his stories during the RTD era although my wife liked his Empty Child two parter! But I can't say they were as bad and crummy as the shows he's written during his tenure! JB

    Review The Capaldi Doctor

Peter Capaldi should have been a great Doctor and would have been if Moffat was a good producer/writer/showrunner! But from his first story, which was a disaster and the worst of all regeneration stories, I knew it was going to be as bad as most of Matt Smith's tenure! JB

    Review The Tom Baker Doctor

I had to stop buying audios as they just kept on coming one after another with no end in sight but my wallet was emptying quicker than I could build it up! Plus the BBC Hornets Nest didn't look that exciting to me even if Richard Franklin and Tom Baker together did seem whacky enough! JB
