    Review Waiting For God

Two veteran British actors or stature, Graham Crowden and Stephanie Cole have fun chewing the scenery as two curmudgeonly pensioners determined to wreak havoc in a retirement home in this 90's sitcom. Hopefully when I get to this stage of my life it'll be just as fun!

    Review The X-Files (1993)

Couldn't find a thread for this show on this forum. Surely someone mentioned it someplace , but I can't find it. Here we are then. Top ten episodes are always pretty subjective, here is a top ten list , I'd agree with some of them but not all.

    Review Cabaret Voltaire

70 billion people part2 Soulenoid This may be based on a Harlan Ellison novel. It seems likely. Okay done a bit of research, and it's based on a Harlan Ellison script from The Outer Limits- Demon with a Glass Hand starring Robert Culp. Must get it!

    Review Cabaret Voltaire

70 Billion people Part 1 An extraordinary bit of techno/house considering the original version was released early 80's.

    Review Echo and the Bunnymen

New Echo album out in May Their last one Meteorites was a solid 8/10 album, no truly memorable stuff but ok. Market Town was my favourite on it.

    Review Ministry

    Ministry were originally finished with their Last Sucker album, but then returned, and supposedly finished with the album From Beer To Eternity, but thankfully Al has changed his mind again and they'll be back in March with a new album AmeriKKKa. From the album Relapse;

    Review The Cuckoo Waltz

Top performance from Lewis Collins, can't at all see his Bodie character hiding here. Also stars the lovely Diane Keen terrific in this as she was in Pat Troughton series Feathered Serpent.

    Review Get Some In (1975)

ITV's answer to Dads Army, set in the 1950's, RAF comedy with Tony Selby and Robert Lindsay. Written by the team that created The Good Life and Ever Decreasing Circles. Not very PC with Selby's Corporal Marsh calling RAF cadets Pansies and Pouffhouse, very 70's.

    Review Fairly Secret Army

Starring Geoffrey Palmer and written by David Nobbs, the creator of The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin. This is not a direct spin off but is sort of. Remember Palmer's Uncle Jimmy character and his project to set up a secret army for when the balloon went up? Well this is about that army,but...

    Review Upstart Crow

Ben Elton's latest comedy creation. David Mitchell as William Shakespeare a struggling playwright in a homage to the Bard. Clever and funny tales showing the genesis of all those famous plays, or not! Of course not, but very enjoyable. Also with Harry Enfield and Paula " man about the house" Wilcox.

    Review Married With Children '87-97

Ed O'Neill as Al Bundy in cult American comedy. Used to be on in the small hours in U.K. but got a good audience. The husband from hell married to the wife from hell with bratish children, one of which was played by young Christina Applegate.

    Review Blake's 7 (1978)

Yes Warship was great, it filled that gap perfectly. I regard that as cannon virtually. If you think Gareth's voice had changed it's nowt compared to Steven Pacey's change of voice. Much deeper, older obviously, that brash young bighead isn't quite there now. Also Del Grant was a crew member...

    Review Blake's 7 (1978)

I've heard the six episode " Search For Dayna" series that Big Finish did (it wasn't titled that BTW) , I thought it was ok but no more. Pity there probably won't be more series 1/2 stories, I'd hate the idea of recasting Blake though BF have done it successfully with the third Doctor. Who has...

    Review American Gothic (1995)

Lucas Buck may or not be The Devil in human form, Gary Cole's performance was outstanding as the devilish Sherriff who has the town of Trinity in a grip of fear.
