    Review The Tom Baker Doctor

Well Avon was always going on about how wealth is power! JB

    Review The Tom Baker Doctor

Who knows, maybe Wimpy were behind The Galactic Federation anyway? And if not maybe Avon escaped from Gauda Prime with a weird transporting device and found himself back in time promoting the fast foods of a defunct burgher company a thousand years before he was born! :emoji_hushed: JB

    Review An Unearthly Child (1963)

I had the original Radio times special but sadly didn't look after it and eventually it went the way of all things! The Making of Doctor Who (Pertwee cover) I picked up for a few quid in a sci-fi shop somewhere about twenty years back and it's very different to the Tom Baker edition! The episode...

Review Twice Upon a Time (2017)

It looks okay but I've been fooled so many times before by Moffat's lousy writing! But as it's to be my last viewing of a New Doctor Who episode I'd better be prepared with whisky and Pringles! JB

    Review The Tom Baker Doctor

Ahh, so before The Doctor in his second set of lives became The Curator and revisited a few old favourites, he started working for New Zealand's Superannuation services? JB

240 million and they're not satisfied? They must be so greedy it's beyond thinking of! JB

Review The Six Million Dollar Man (1973)

They've been talking about this for years and nothing ever happens! So don't worry about it! They've been on about a remake of Hellraiser for the last decade or more and that still hasn't turned up, although there is a tenth movie been made but they're holding it back for some reason! JB

    Spoilers Game of Thrones (2011)

I've just started watching season four, borrowed from a friend that's a big fan, so I'm not sure of what's going to happen next! JB

    Review An Unearthly Child (1963)

It was a fantastic month back in 81 and shame they never continued doing it every other year! The Monsters season was good but Genesis was a compilation version and Peladon was a double up job while Earthshock had only been on a few months earlier! JB

    Review Arena

As a child back in 72 I first saw this fantastic episode of Star Trek and became terrified of The Gorn! My parents had gone out (they were allowed to back then) and I was in alone watching Trek when suddenly a silver eyed green skinned reptilian monster appeared on the screen and scared the life...

    Review Turnabout Intruder: Episode 79

I quite like this episode myself and find it funny to see Shatner doing feminine things like filing his nails one minute and acting hysterical with the crew when they disobey his/her orders! JB

    Review Spock's Brain (1968)

Spock's Brain at least had Marj Dusay in suspenders while Plato's Stepchildren had...nuthin! JB

    Review Plato's Stepchildren (1968)

This is one episode of Star Trek that I'm glad the BBC banned for many years! Not because Kirk kissed Uhura, coz any man would want to kiss her but because of the lame script and embarrassing scenes with Kirk acting like a horse and Spock doing the Flamenco on Kirk's head!!! JB

Fun What TV Shows Are You Watching/Rewatching at the Moment?

I've been enjoying series two of Glitch, The Australian series about seven people returning to life after many years and centuries in some cases! It's a Netflix produced show and I don't think it's available yet on DVD, but it's well worth a watch believe me! JB

    Fun Missing Television

The BBC version from 1973 is available on DVD as a Ghost Stories at Christmas box set but might be quite expensive I believe nowadays! JB

    Review Terra Nova (2011)

I've bought this for my son at Christmas! He loves his Dinosaurs and I remember watching this show a few years back on Pick and while it wasn't a classic I wouldn't say it was that bad either! JB

    Review Wacky Races (1968)

I remember it from the sixties and I was a big fan of Dick Dastardley and Muttley and always wanted them to win the races! I think he came fourth..once! JB

    Review Classic Who Companions!

Why did they keep showing pictures of Susan in the last series of Moffat's Doctor Who? I kept thinking that she was going to reappear in the final few episodes or something especially since I remember Peter Capaldi going on about he'd love her to return just to bring the show full circle! But it...
