Why bother calling him Harry Mudd in DISCOVERY? It is clearly not the same character, beyond the name. Again we have the darker iteration of a familiar element, to the point of being unrecognisable, much like the entire show.

As for the original Harry, a great performance from Roger C. Carmell as the lovable rogue in one of Trek's lighter episodes.
