    Review K9 and Company (1981)

Oh yes, but so little of it and so long ago! I have really and truly petted K9 (and not been hauled away by officials either). A long-ago Doctor Who exhibition at MOMI - there he was, tartan collar and all, and all between us was a stylish red velvet rope. The museum attendant on duty became...

    Review 24 Legacy (2017)

Thanks for the explanation - feel much better as I've never seen any 24 so am allowed to be blissfully ignorant - but I see how it would be annoyingly confusing.

    Fun Cooking

In a spirit of transatlantic outreach I have to admit to a morbid thrill at Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares USA - except too much swearing gets bleeped out on the downloads. They knew what they were getting into when they volunteered to be on the show! For actual cooking I'd like to eat -...

    Review 24 Legacy (2017)

Hi Batman - that's impressively elliptical for an opening post - who's the "you" here? Apologies if I'm missing something obvious! :emoji_nerd:

    Review The JOHN HURT/WAR Doctor

I am deeply moved by this revelation - and feel for you. Pretty sure I once achieved a six-fingered mitten when I first attempted the four-needle method... I'm sure there's a chilly alien out there somewhere who would welcome it.

    Review David Bowie

BBC's version of Baal (Brecht musical) and also his freaky cameo in Twin Peaks - Fire Walk With Me (still not a clue, but it was great) Just heard on the nine o'clock news he's won the expected Brit Award. <sigh>

    Review The JOHN HURT/WAR Doctor

My Tom Baker scarf was HUGE (I'm a smidge under 5') so I had the warmest neck of any fan in the northern hemisphere when I'd done - but occasionally did spectacular pratfalls when the scarf was combined with platform shoes.... if ytur scarf was more what we call "freeform" you could be one of...

    Review The JOHN HURT/WAR Doctor

Do you knit, Doc? One minute a tidy row of stitches in the order you cast them on - then - whip out a cable needle and POW! You're passing the slipped stitches over and twisting and creating more interesting patterns than you could have dreamed of when you started - numbered sequences are for...

    Review Harrison Ford

A National Transportation Safety Board spokesperson tells ET they are aware of the incident and are currently gathering information. There's no further comment at this time. Friend Duzit I am going to kick myself for asking - but how did you know he was back? Are you a Friend of Elliott's?

Put your money on Witness 2 coming soon. At least the Amish won't have changed much - it's their thing. Patriot Games the Peace Process Years might keep him chilled?

    Review Harrison Ford

Well, I really enjoyed Saving Mr Banks, so maybe it's time for Saving Mr Mouse? Tough Love and Hard Cheese, I'm afraid - no more remakes, lazy sequels or live-action retreads. Stop it. Find some new stories and make THEM. If not - well, I always preferred Hanna-Barbera to be honest.

    Review Harrison Ford

Should have been careful what I wished for! Clearly as the last one got us safely into the fifties, some sort of crossover with Call the Midwife is what's needed. Indiana Jones and the Nuns on Bicycles - would it get the thing "into development" do you think? I bet Jenny Agutter would be up for...

    Fun Your Favourite Films?

The Bloody Chamber is a collection of very darkly comic takes on folk tales. Wise Children is the full length novel of hers I love the best so far

(to say nothing of Buddy Holly, Glen Miller and Amy Johnson). Maybe he should be kept out of mischief (and I say this with mixed feelings) by shooting another Indiana Jones?

    Review The JOHN HURT/WAR Doctor

So much better than an Eccleston cameo would have been - all bets off - something we'd never even guessed at and actual John Hurt into the bargain - world-weary, battle-scared and grumpy with it. What's not to love?

    Fun Your Favourite Films?

Yes - love it! And one day I will get my DVD back from the friend who borrowed it. Bet Angela Lansbury had more fun doing that than all her Disney outings put together. I wish more of Angela Carter's work would make it to film, especially her other horror stories

Never seen an episode of Doctor Who I didn't like - but this phase of the story was an all-time special favourite of mine - not just genius, but ingenious. :emoji_blush:
