    Fun Our Even Earlier Posts!

Like most, I first arrived as IMDb began shutting the boards. Perhaps they went to IMDb2...? I've never been there, but left this site for about 4 months due to increased hours at work. I was mostly lurking before I left, but intend to remain and be all the Quantez08 I can be. Whatever that is.

    Fun Under-Rated Bands?

I think Styx was incredibly underrated, easily one of the best bands of the 70's. No disrespect to Stairway to Heaven, but Suite Madame Blue is my fave 70's power ballad. Renegade, Too much time on my Hands, and Crystal Ball are also great songs. Even 'Come Sail Away' has grown on me a bit...

    Review The STARGATE FRANCHISE!

I enjoyed SGU. The tension between Rush and the commander reached it's peak at the end of the first season, respectively. I thought it was great.

    Fun Foods You Won't Eat!

I second sushi, and as far as seafood goes, I'll add crawfish and oysters. As far as non-seafood, I've never cared for radish.

Review The Strangest Films You Have Ever Seen!

Cathy's Curse (1977): Quite good, imo. The lighting is strange, with a foggish glow the entire film. The little girl is a hoot with her foul language. Murder Mansion (1972): There's not much coherency here, but it's part of the appeal. I've only seen it once, but I remember the ending being...

    Review Skinwalkers (2006)

I dig it hardcore. I have a brief review on TMDB for it. Great story, characters, action. Great ending, and love the end-credit song.

    Controversial Trump

Yes, I'm a psychotic Trump-hater, and 100% lib at that. You know how the late Reagan has gotten so much attention as of late? There's a reason for that. Think hard.

    Fun Your Favorite Restaurant!

Not sure I have a fave restaurant, but remember being at one called the Blue Frog Café. Not sure what the simple dish was called, but it was basically a breaded chicken patty w//mashed potatoes & cheese on top. My uncle asked, "Is that as good as it looks?" Erm, yes.

    Fun The Paranormal

It was much more hoax than horror. I'd say 20% horror, 80% hoax.

Review What Game Froze On You & Made You The Most Angry?

I'm actually more annoyed by the games where I couldn't find a way to advance. In the game "River City Ransom", I remember hitting a point where there was no place left to go. There didn't seem to be a secret passage, or anything of that nature. Another game with a similar point was "Rygar".

    Controversial What constitutes "selling out"?

What (in your opinion) does "selling out" involve? For example, Metallica began being called sell-outs from the Black Album onward. Is it simply because the album appealed to a larger audience, or is there something more to it? Then there's the Load/Re-Load albums. Did the "die-hard" fans not...

Review Why do religious people take offense to church humour?

All I know is that my fave joke came from a cousin of mine one time. One day at work, he had diarrhea all day. A co-worker confronted him, saying "You smell like shite." He responded with, "I think I smell like Jesus Christ. When he was crucified, don't you think he smelled like shite?"

    Controversial Scientology

I don't agree with it, but am glad it exists. For without it, the tune "The god that failed" wouldn't have been made, which would be a shame.

Review Your top 5 Metallica albums?

    1. Re-Load: All the songs are great. I think "attitude" is the only song I don't consider above-par. 2. Ride the Lightning: Great hits/non-hits, and "trapped under ice" is the only weak-link here. 3. Master of Puppets: I think "orion" is overrated, but it's their fastest album, and "battery" is...

Fun The Best Music Thread in the Universe!

My favorite classic one would be Metallica's Welcome Home Sanitarium. My favorite modern one (despite not being a hit) would be Skillet's "Sometimes".

    Fun The Paranormal

They are definitely supernatural. I had a friend that became possessed after using one. He spat a black spot onto the carpet that wouldn't come off. He then developed a 2-foot tongue and turned into the grim-reaper.

    Review Puppetmaster (1989)

Well, my fave (Terror, 1978) is much darker by comparison.

Review Night of the Creeps (1986)

This one scared me as a kid, but I never really cared for it that much. I think I didn't care for the characters, and while I usually don't care for over-the-top humor in my horror, this is one of those that could've used it.
