Fun What TV Shows Are You Watching/Rewatching at the Moment?

Here's Alexei Sayle in top form. I suppose you either love him or not, humour being a very personal taste.

Fun What TV Shows Are You Watching/Rewatching at the Moment?

Plenty of Brit sketch shows which I love, from Monty Python, Harry Enfield. Alexei Sayle, probably Fry and Laurie my favorite, and this Greek restaurant sketch is one of the best IMO

    Review The Thick Of It

What can you say about this amazing show. A political masterpiece with Peter Capaldi incredible as Malcom Tucker. Capaldi's best work by far ,and i include Dr Who . He is very good in Who but his stories suck for the most part, not his fault of course. Capaldi's Tucker allegedly based on Tony...

Review Kolchak: The Night Stalker (1974)

Watching this at present for the first time. Heard great things about this . It's very watchable. Darren McGavin is excellent. The ' monsters ' are unusual and well researched by the writers using legends from ethnic folklore. So not bad at all.

    Review U.F.O. (1970)

Gerry Anderson masterpiece from 1970, his first series with live action rather than supermarionation. So many great ideas here, the fashions make it look a bit dated, but the stories are good so you don't care about the fashions. My favourite episodes; Timelash, Mindbender, Question of...

    Review Love Thy Neighbour (1972)

It's not politically correct but who cares!! Made in the days when people had a sense of humour. Examine it closely and you'll see its averagely funny only, but the joy is in knowing the boundaries of acceptability they knowingly broke down in creating this. .

    Review Dick Turpin (1979)

Anyone remember this classic series? Richard O'Sullivan in the starring role, showing us a different side to his comedy roles in Man About The House. Richard Carpenter created this, to add to his impressive portfolio of shows that include Catweazle and Ghosts of Motley Hall. Guest appearances...

Review All Things THE SANDBAGGERS (1978)

A little taster of the show from ep.1 Burnside shows us his cold hearted nature in this clip with Norwegian chief played by Olaf Pooley, Stahlman from Dr.Who Inferno.

    Review 1990 (1977)

Really enjoying this series as a first time viewer. Edward Woodward is in almost Callan mode, as a journalist Kyle up against a vicious ultra right wing government and their all encompassing Peoples Control Department. Just seen episode called " Health Farm" which in actuality is a...

Review The Fall And Rise Of Reginald Perrin

One of my favourite shows of all time. Leonard Rossiter was a genius, in fact the whole cast was superb. The Martin Clunes remake was very poor in my opinion. These guys agree with me; CJ " I didn't get where I am today without knowing which Perrin is better" Tom " I'm not really a Clunes...

    Review Peep Show

Excellent series, sorry it's over, but so many funny moments also one or two risqué scenes, even possibly sick, when Jeremy runs over his girlfriend's dog, and then tries to burn it and ends up eating it springs to mind.

Fun What TV Shows Are You Watching/Rewatching at the Moment?

Didn't know really where to put this thread, so here it is. Anyone watch the BBC quiz show Only Connect with Victoria Coren Mitchell? It's really a great idea, original, and makes you dig deep mentally to answer a single question. The Eggheads team, top quizzers themselves with their own show...
