An amazing band that started in the late 70's from Sheffield in northern England. Their early stuff was deeply impenetrable , anarchistic wall of sound , debateable whether it was even music. Into the late 80's and 90's they moved to more accessible but heavy , very heavy dance or synth stuff...

Loved all the albums, Roddy Frame is a very talented writer. The solo stuff, I'm not so keen, however the latest offering " Seven Dials" is pretty good. Stray is probably my favorite album, the track " Good Morning Britain" a particular favorite.

This is a terrific song, done live here, "......and stones " Foot tapping, fusion of dance and rock with Wojtek of course dancing his heart out.

Bristol's finest band, and an extraordinary one too. Lead singer Gerard Langley regarded as poet as well as singer. Their songs have a poetic feel to them, and I believe they did art works as well as music. Also have a band member who doesn't play any instruments, sing, or write stuff, but...

I've got to admit a soft spot for this. True, the stories were pretty repetitive but enjoyable with fantastic car chases, Roscoe was a laugh, but most of all ......Daisy Duke

It's really frustrating and depressing when certain bands just get no airtime or breaks that others get. When "You Move Me " came out I thought it had big hit potential. But sadly not....or is it me? Perhaps this is pants!

This also from the Sleep No More album. It's got a wonderful driving chord, simple but effective.

This is a tremendous live track " Be Brave" from.their second album " Sleep No More" regarded as possibly their best work even though it's quite uncommercial and guitar "wall of sound" style.

Yes, good choice. My favorite is this one. Such a great catchy tune. Lyrics good too.

Time for fun

This is a band that baffles me. Their early stuff was traditional sort of rock then they changed to new wave synthesizer band, then disco, and their recent cd " something for everyone" was a mix of all three. But they're always listenable and FUN. No harm in that, a fun band who don't take...
