    Review Blake's 7 (1978)

I quite liked the episode Moloch but I wasn't enamoured very much with Sarcoughagus except for the ending where it appeared that Cally was sweet on Avon! The worst episodes of the series would have to be Gambit, Voice from the past and Orbit but for absolutely rubbish acting that award goes to...

    Review Diamonds Are Forever (1971)

What was the Tiffany Case of the book like then, ant? And I had read that Blofeld was not in the book and was brought into the film by the producers who originally wanted Goldfinger's twin brother! JB

    Review The Whittaker Doctor

She's an attractive woman I would say but a female Doctor is not for me I'm afraid! The truth of the matter is that I have not enjoyed a single episode of Capaldi's reign and only The Doctor's Wife and Day of The Doctor had anything going for them in the entire Moffat tyranny so I will be...

    Review Diamonds Are Forever (1971)

There are some shots on the net of Lazenby and St.John on location pre Connery! JB

Jill St.John was one of my favourite Bond gals it has to be said! JB

Review The Best of Both Worlds (1990)

An excellent story and one of the best cliff hangers in Trek history! Shame when they tried it again three years later with Descent it didn't come out half as good! JB

Fun Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987)

The Borg were a great baddie for the series but after their lack of use in the show (one episode a year) and Voyager's overuse I soon realised they were good but I like the original baddies of TOS better! The Klingons and The Romulans all the way! Still like The Borg though.... JB

Review The City on the Edge of Forever (1966)

Seems very harsh of CBS and Paramount or is it that these guys can make better Star Trek than they can? JB

Review The City on the Edge of Forever (1966)

Have they stopped them? I heard they had stopped Axanar but not Continues as it seems to still turn up on YouTube from time to time, Doctor! JB

Fun Star Trek: The Animated Series

I'm rewatching these again for the first time in six or seven years! They still stand up story wise and animation wise! A great way for kids to enjoy the adventures of Kirk and crew (well not my kids anyway) JB

Review The City on the Edge of Forever (1966)

They sure don't care! Star Trek:Continues is a good way to continue the adventures of The Enterprise even if it's not canon. The special effects are superior to the remastered look on CBS Action and definitely Discovery! JB

    Fun Star Trek: Discovery (2017)

A while back (fifteen years) I felt I had to buy anything Star Trek to be a real fan! I liked TNG and DS9 and even VOY although TOS is the best in my opinion but when ENT came about I was severely disappointed enough to change my OCD and not purchase the series on DVD! With Discovery I'm...

Review The City on the Edge of Forever (1966)

Agreed! Roddenberry saw the show as an optimistic look at the future of humanity in space not this cobblers with man on the brink of destroying himself and the entire Federation! (or should that be The United Earth Space Probe Agency at this time?) JB

    Fun Star Trek: Discovery (2017)

It annoys me the way we are told that this is a great series by the media yet a lot of us don't seem to think so! Same way that the original series was popular with us growing up in the seventies but the media of that era said it was just for the kids! JB

Review The City on the Edge of Forever (1966)

Is that really true, Doctor? The fact that these 'writers' have a series dedicated to a war that never happened in the original series is quite disturbing to me! JB

Review The City on the Edge of Forever (1966)

Discovery is becoming quite lethal each and every week to be honest! I can't see it being given a second series to be honest (or at least I hope not) JB

    Review The Man Trap (1966)

Well the Turkish lady was much sexier than Jeanne Bal but I think I'll stick with the original version! Thanks for that anyways, Doctor! JB

Review Let That Be Your Last Battlefield (1969)

I always expected Commissioner Bele to burst out giggling and tear his outfit off to reveal a similar green tunic with lots of question marks! JB

Review The City on the Edge of Forever (1966)

Strange how the quality that Gene Roddenberry gave to his original Trek series has been missing from most of the later series and especially Enterprise and Discovery! JB

    Review The Man Trap (1966)

I watched this with my family on Netflix recently and I was somewhat dismayed by their reaction to it! My wife said it was corny despite the horrifying ending with the creature appearing and attempting to drain Kirk's life away (This scene was excised from the BBCs 1984 transmission) I guess...
