I watched this with my family on Netflix recently and I was somewhat dismayed by their reaction to it! My wife said it was corny despite the horrifying ending with the creature appearing and attempting to drain Kirk's life away (This scene was excised from the BBCs 1984 transmission) I guess there's no accounting for taste!

As mentioned on another thread, for some reason Turkish television chose to remake this particular story....

Debate still rages to this day as to which is the best version.

Okay, admittedly it doesn't rage very much....

Well the Turkish lady was much sexier than Jeanne Bal but I think I'll stick with the original version! Thanks for that anyways, Doctor!

The Turkish version of Discovery surely has to be better than the original, surely. It HAS to be, dammit!!
