    Review The Colin Baker Doctor

No, the blue look isn't that good where as the black is better but Colin wanted that look and was told that black is The Master's colour! JB

    Review The Whittaker Doctor

I can see their point about the show never having The Doctor dress well but I'll still be watching the other side next autumn on Saturday nights! :emoji_laughing: JB

    Review The Whittaker Doctor

I truly wonder why they cast her in the role knowing what a backlash it would cause and just how many long term fans will tear up their life cards and veto the whole show? JB

    Review The Hartnell Doctor

A great show! Which begs a question of why I never saw it four years ago!!! Was it rubbish? Some episodes weren't too good as I remember but it sure is rubbish now! JB

    Review The Whittaker Doctor

Admitted I'm no expert on fashion or matching clothes but she looks absolutely ridiculous to me! I'm glad I'm giving the new series a miss next year! JB

    Review The Colin Baker Doctor

Colin was a good looking guy it seemed in the seventies and then let himself go a bit by having a few late night munchies! I don't think it was necessarily wrong to have a fat Doctor but just not in that trifle of a costume! I didn't mind it that much to be honest and is certainly...

    Review The Tom Baker Doctor

I liked it when DWM interviewed Terry Dicks a few months back and he stated that Moffat is a great writer and has been successful with the series (really?) but that Moffat's writing isn't really what he likes and such! That is like not being unkind but also telling the guy that in his opinion...

    Review The Tom Baker Doctor

Don't think I'd be interested in anything that Moffat has to say about an era of the show he couldn't possibly imitate or even come close to 'writing' for! JB

    Review The "Alien" Franchise

I liked the two films but they do play hazard with the continuity unless you accept that The Predators can travel in time as well as space! JB

    Review The Predator (2018)

I liked the first film a lot and the second one was good too! The AVPs were good and Predators was much of the same but not being a fan of the military as such I shall wait and see on this one... JB

    Review The "Alien" Franchise

Exactly where do the two AVP movies come in that chronology? Before any of the others..right? JB

    Review The Colin Baker Doctor

Hmmm! I've seen that pic before and yes, it makes him look weird but in a better way! JB

    Spoilers The Walking Dead (2010)

The fans will end it when they've truly had enough! The Negan battleground thing is already getting a little stale. Let's hope it's all tied up by the end of this season and next year we get Negan join Rick in his next conflict with the zombie-like Whisperers! JB

    Fun Star Trek: Discovery (2017)

It should have been relayed to us in the TV series, not in a novel! But thanks anyway, Doc! JB

Fun Mistakes In Popular TV Shows

May he rot wherever he is now, Ant! Strangely enough in the Space 1999 novel where Balor returns, he resurrects Mike Baxter from a grave in the base and Mike is a bit decayed and without his personality! Balor also gives Koenig eternal life and super powers too as I recall! JB

    Fun Star Trek: Discovery (2017)

Apart from their ugly faces and conker-like heads, those terrible costumes they wear look like decorations on a wedding cake to me! Far from the black and gold of TOS or the Spanish type Conquistador look of TMP,TNG and DS9! JB

    Review Space 1999 (1975)

My favourite episode of Ever Decreasing Circles has to be The Loft from series four where Martin and Howard get stuck up in the attic of the cottage that they, Paul and the wives are holidaying in! "Hello, Anne, I'm in here now..!" JB

    Review Space 1999 (1975)

AAARRGGHH! Of course Beyond is the third film in the new series!!! How could I forget that? Even if I haven't seen it yet.... JB

Fun Mistakes In Popular TV Shows

That's right, I forgot that one and let us not ignore Martin Landau in Space 1999s End of Eternity where he approaches Mike Baxter in the asteroid corridors and says, "Excuse me, Jim!" The actor was Jim or James Smilie and the character was Mike Baxter so Martin got his wires crossed! JB

    Review Space 1999 (1975)

I forgot to put Martian Chronicles and The Persuaders I think too! So much stuff that I can't keep track of it! JB
