Not that I'm complaining or anything, but I'm struggling to understand why Marvel even bothers with trailers any more. Surely they could just do a 5 second ad with the title and release date and people would flock to see the movie.

I suspect that this will be the first Star Wars movie I haven't seen at the cinema. Unless it gets some exceptional word of mouth once its released, then I might change my mind. But given limited finances and a fair number of other movies I'm actually interested in it's unlikely.

If women are being inspired by seeing the science that the women in this movie did, then I fear for the future of science. I suspect the fact that it was a pretty bad movie didn't help it either.

I'm amazed that, with all the characters and action scenes in this movie, they still managed to have a coherent plot and some quiet character moments. Absolutely worth the money. The only downside is that we've got a whole year to wait for the next part.

I certainly hope so. In Justice League we finally got to see what a real Superman could be like with Henry Cavill in the role and I for one would definitely like to see more of that.

It's always astonished me that, in this era of reboots and remakes, no one has ever tried to bring Mr Squiggle back. It wouldn't be the same without the original voices but it still seems like the kind of kids show that would be a success in any era.
