Did you ever see the British romantic comedy AS TIME GOES BY?

I always thought they managed to get the balance just right in that.

And by the end of its run, even the younger cast members were starting to get a taste of what it's like to grow older.

Judi Dench, Geoffrey Palmer, Moira Brooker, Philip Bretherton, Jenny Funnell, Joan Sims, Frank Middlemass, Moyra Fraser, Paul Chapman, Janet Henfrey and Tim Wylton.

I highly recommend it. Every episode was pure joy to watch.

All I remember of this one now is the guest cast (composed of not very talented younger actors) running around the house, and a showdown between Capaldi and David Suchet.
