I really like the alien in Alien. The design is fantastic, its very erotic.

Strangely my favourite is the 1976 version, although I think the original is brilliant of course.

The first "ALIEN" wasn't only scary but suspenseful too. MY pick would be Frankenstein's monster from the Universal world.

As far as monsters go, I'm going with a tie between vampires and zombies. While both are overdone, when they are done well, the movie can ascend above common horror tropes. I'm also a sucker for Godzilla.

And even though they're not monsters, per se, I'm all about paranormal horror. A good ghost romp will captivate me.
