Review Ultravox!

Ultravox! and Ultravox two different groups really.
John Foxx the original singer of Ultravox! ( with an exclamation mark), lead a rather wonderful rock/synth band , Midge Ure brought recognition and success with pop new wave stuff. Both very enjoyable.

This might not be widely known but after Midge Ure left the band they did try to continue with other singers.
Tony Fennell was first up, looking Ure-like, one album with him, which I quite liked.
It certainly didn't deserve to bomb, which of course it did .
This is the single , " I Am Alive"

After the disappointment of the Revelation album , then came Sam Blue on vocals for the Ingenuity release. This was another flop. The band wouldn't release anything more for 18 years, when Midge Ure returned for the album Brilliant.
Ingenuity IMO was a poor poor record, not really much left of the old Ultravox, but the eponymous track was quite good, here it is.
