Michael Jayston in this one as a show jumper kidnapped by an alien while out riding in the woods. His worried father and sister call in the police, after the father finds a mutilated dog in the woods while searching for him.
SHADO are looking for a UFO landed not too far away and when Russell Stone's disappearance is flagged up they move investigations over to the farm. Paul Foster leads the hunt and discovers an eerie silence near a lake in the centre of the search area. The UFO has hidden itself on the lake bed. Is Russell Stone ( Jayston) aboard.
A nice episode with a bit of gore, almost a pastiche of Hammer Horror style.
