A band of great longevity, been having hits every decade since the 70's. It may be not cool to say this but I prefer the post Hugh Cornwell material, though I enjoy all their work. This track from the suite xvi album typical late Stranglers.

From the Aural Sculpture hit album, which probably was their most successful commercially.
My favorite Hugh Cornwell Stranglers album was the Meninblack concept work, all about Aliens coming to Humanity's rescue.
This is a nice band. I saw them live once at a free festival in The Hague, that was pretty cool.
