I remember back in 75 or so that the only novels you could buy were Escape, Conquest and Battle! Now I wasn't happy with that so I kept going into a big bookshop in town to ask and eventually they said there was a novel based on Beneath and the original story! So I patiently waited until both turned up but was disappointed to discover that Monkey Planet is not the same story as Planet of The Apes! In the end it never did arrive as such until years later I discovered an edition called Planet of The Apes with photos from the first film on the cover and I decided to make do with that which was better than the other copy I had I guess!Same here, Gav! I always wanted the original film as a book as a teenager, when my Apemania was at it's greatest!

I stripped Spock down to his underpants
Well, his descendant, Cornelius, never mentioned him.So that's what happened to Galen then!!!

One that is also on the way is a new film in the “Planet of the Apes” franchise – one that’s expected to continue on from the three recent ones and it’s unlikely director Matt Reeves will return as he’s busy with “The Batman”.
