Good episode, Iain Cuthbertson is always class, here as the hapless Godfrey, a knight from the Crusades who recognises The White Lady as his wife. No wonder she looks distraught, having him boring her for eternity with his tales of daring do.
Matt here is a bit nasty to The White Lady for no real reason, other than he thinks she's lied about not being able to leave Motley.
" I absolutely refuse to be Matilda of Aylesbury, property of that buffoon" Luckily Matt's wandering around the grounds reveals a twist, but him dropping a ring down the well started it all off, so he saving the situation nicely concludes the story.
