One of my favourite shows of all time. Leonard Rossiter was a genius, in fact the whole cast was superb. The Martin Clunes remake was very poor in my opinion. These guys agree with me;
CJ " I didn't get where I am today without knowing which Perrin is better"
Tom " I'm not really a Clunes person"
Jimmy " Bit of a cock up on the scriptwriting front"

An excellent TV series. I saw bits and pieces of it as a child, but I was recently fortunate enough to be able to was this TV show from start to finish. A wonderful experience that did not last nearly long enough.

And yes, Leonard Rossiter was brilliant - and not just in this.
