Patrick Troughton did get to show off his acting chops in this one. Has the Doctor ever played two different characters since? The Almost People doesn't count because he was still pretty much playing himself.

Just looking at my Doctor Who timeline and I realised that this story is due to happen any day now. After the government managed to keep the 1986 Cyberman invasion quiet I expect this will be kept secret too. Perhaps this is why Trump is trying to build a wall to keep the Mexicans out. He's trying to prevent Salamander's rise to power?
