Your thoughts on this show.....

Lighthearted detective series set in the West Country, about Eddie Shoestring, a radio-phone-in detective

Well well, I've just got the DVD boxset a few days ago, never seen before. Good first episode, it has all the components to be a show in the Bergerac style, same feel to it. An interesting twist to the first episode and all the way through it I recognised an actor but couldn't quite identity him. Shameful to say when the credits came up I kicked myself, of course William Russell!
Will be watching this series for the first time over the next few months.

I remember it being broadcast and will have to see it again sometime. At the time it seemed to be a sedate alternative to THE PROFESSIONALS on the other side.

Bit shocked to find in the comments of the Harry H. Corbett clip that Harry's facial scars in the scene are genuine and from a really bad car accident that he had been in.
