Not a comic, but an excellent book by Joseph Lallo called The Other Eight, which is set in a world where superheroes exist. But none of the good superpowers. Instead there's a girl who can momentarily confuse people by saying two unrelated words together, a man who can pull an unlimited supply of fluorescent light bulbs out of his bag, a guy who doesn't need to eat but absorbs energy by photosynthesis, etc. The story follows them through a reality show type project to build a useful superteam.

Have heard of it, but never actually seen it, but it looks a real gem!

I recognise the actor playing The Blue Raja, from Quiz Show.
