Alfred Burke stars in this wonderful detective series. Frank Marker is a ex con down on his luck investigator dealing mainly with unsavoury cases.
52 episodes thankfully still survive, I've seen half of the box set and really impressive , with a host of top stars appearing.
Burke is amazing in this big hit from 1965-1975.

I'm a third of the way through the DVD box set of this, 51 episodes survive of this series available in one large set with booklet.
It's remarkably good, Alfred Burke is perfect as the downbeat private eye, dealing with the mostly lower end of the scale cases. No glamour for him, but divorce cases, missing persons, petty embezzlement etc.
There's so many wonderful actors in this , too many to list.

I have the 17 disc set "a box named Frank". Got about ten left to watch. Pure class.
