Truly a wonderful man. Every role he played he was perfect in. He was so great at conveying complete evil, but also amazing pathos and heroics. And as you said, a true gentleman in every way.

I wrote to him in 1980, around about the time when he had just done the Silent Scream episode of the HAMMER HOUSE OF HORROR tv series.

I got a lovely signed photo off him as Grand Moff Tarqin that said my name and "May God's blessing be with you always. in all sincerity, Peter Cushing", similar to the one below.



Yes, he brought quality to any film he was in.

Sadly not.

I just found it on my wanderings and liked the look of it.

But now you have put that idea in my head....

Would love to see such type of films to continue the Hammer and Universal sequences.
