Very much a synth/new romantic band. There's no other band of this type I'd contemplate listening to, but I've always liked this group.
All their albums are top notch, very catchy tunes and a good variety of lyrics . New album due out soon .

From the new album, Punishment of Luxury which reminds me of the really early album, Organization, a bit off beat.

This is a tribute to Louise Brooks, silent movie star, who had a career cut short. Her work vilified by Hitler as degenerate art. Scenes from her film Pandora's Box appear in this video.

This is possibly the most bizarre track ever put on an album. Very clever, but just weird.

The above track taken from the album Dazzle Ships, which was a strange experimental album. OMD were so well established that they managed to have big sales for a very uncommercial group of songs. This was the single.

Confusingly they had two tracks called Joan Of Arc on the same album. Both hit singles, and both pretty good.
