Photos: The Joker’s Final Look In “Gotham”
The fifth and final season of “Gotham” is halfway through its twelve-episode run with this week’s seventh episode finally giving us a confrontation between Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) and Jeremiah Valeska (Cameron Monaghan) at ACE Chemicals – a place familiar to fans of Batman comics.
Using plastic surgery and brainwashing, Jeremiah has set out to torture Bruce by recreating his parent’s death – leading to the pair finally taking on each other on a catwalk above a chemical vat. FOX has released an extended trailer for the episode (see below) blending a summary of previous eps and extended bits from the seventh.
We also know the twelfth and final episode of the run will jump a decade into the future with many of the villain characters getting new and very comics-accurate final looks.
Photos of Monaghan’s look as The Joker in that episode have now leaked online and it’s definitely a distinct take on the character, adopting a more ‘realistic’ look for someone who has fallen into a vat of boiling chemicals and survived...........
The shots follow on from leaked photos the other month of both The Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) and The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith) sporting their final costumes. Should it stick to current scheduling without interruption, the series finale is expected to air March 28th.
