This is a memory from my youth. A father's angst about his two daughters comedy. Patrick Cargill made this watchable. He was brilliant as the harassed father trying to keep up with his daughters exploits and of course coming out worst.

Just gone through this series a fourth time . I can really recommend it, it's very funny in an innocent way, no sexual innuendo or edge at all.
Patrick Cargill is superb, those who know of his performance on The Prisoner will appreciate his out of control, manic, characterisation of the harassed father trying to control two teenage daughters.
This has Paul Whitsun-Jones, the Marshal in The Mutants Dr Who story, as an American film producer with deep christian beliefs, and Patrick has to convince him he's married to get a film contract, when he is in fact divorced. The second half is really funny.

The first two series were in black and white, but just as funny, here Patrick misunderstood an invitation from his publisher for a weekend away to promote his book, with a dirty weekend with her. Hilarious.
