During my teen years, Sunday early evening tv meant ITV's Doctor comedy series.
Loosely based on Richard Gordon's books, we had Doctor in the House ( 2 series), then Doctor At Large, with some scripts written by John Cleese and Graham Chapman, then two series of Doctor in Charge, Doctor at Sea and Doctor on the Go followed.
Re watched most of it over the last couple of years, it's dated of course, but okay for a laugh.
Ernest Clarke as Professor Loftus is very good, mentions too for Robin Nedwell and Geoffrey Davies as Stuart-Clarke, probably my favorite character.
