I'll be surprised if anyone remembers this, but I loved it.
It was on ITV on a weekday afternoon. Starring James Laurenson as a detective in the outback, sort of Skippy for adults! OMG did I say that?!

Yeah, I remember BONEY.

I watched it a couple of times as a kid, when I lived in Swan Hill, in Victoria.

I must have been about six or seven years-old.

Oh and during the same era, I also religiously watched SKIPPY.

A Police Officer, who is also Aboriginal, arrives in outback central Australia from a big city. He begins to solve local major crimes. Not only through his intelligence, as he is highly educated, but also using skills he has learnt from his Aboriginal culture.
