Well, as I promised (or threatened, depending on your perspective), Monday's Review this week is for a Korean adult film. As I also mentioned, I'm sure no one has ever seen or even heard of this one (it's not even listed on IMDb). But I hope my review has some entertainment value, if nothing else. :)
Beautiful Pado and Bada (2004)

Film: 3.5 stars (out of 5)
I never really set out to review an adult movie. I added a couple such DVDs in one of my Korean orders just to see what Korea had to offer for naughty entertainment. I'm a fan of Hong Kong Category III movies and I was curious to see if the Korean movies were similar (uh, they are not). But Beautiful Pado and Bada struck me so funny, and it had a couple of scenes of such candor that I was prompted to say something about it.
For one thing, there is an actual dramatic plot and English subtitles. Kindof rare for the Korean adult DVDs I've seen.
For those that are not familiar with the Korean adult film industry, there is one major rule--no depection of genitalia is allowed. So, lots of T & A and grinding action, but no glimpsing the naughty bits. That's the only thing that makes this and most similar Korean adult films "softcore," because the actors really are doing the deed. In that respect, it's real porno.
So, you get a lot of hands in the panties and a lot of pretzel-twisted legs, hand placements, crossed arms, and camera angles to frame the scenes within the bounds of the rules. Full oral sex action (both ways), but you have to view from the side or at an angle oblique enough to block the point of contact.
It is amazing how much two totally naked people can do under these rules.
Anyway, the young lovers in this movie are Pado and Bada. They have a couple of scenes together, one of which they are trying sex out for the first time (for her, anyway). So, here's a rundown on some of their dialogue:
"I'm a virgin. I'll kill you if you do a messy job."

"It hurts."
"What hurts? I haven't even put it in yet."
"It hurts 'cause you're about to put it in."
------------
"That tickles."
"Be still. Stop running away" (she tends to squirm off toward the side of the bed; so he has to pull her back from time to time). "Hey, stop scooting off the bed!"
"Well, stop pushing me!" I'm going to fall off."
"I'm holding you, baby."

"It really tickles. Stop."
"It doesn't feel good?"
"No, it tickles."
"You like it. I know you like it."
"Goddamn that hurts."

"Hey, why do you have your clothes on?"
"It's cold."
"Yeah. I'll make you sweat, baby."
(this sends her into a gale of giggles)

(Later she notices that he has worked up a sweat): "Oh, you're sweating. You poor thing."
"Who cares? Pay attention."

"I'm gonna come."
"Just do it."
"No. I want to make it last."
"Hurry up and finish it."
"Doesn't it feel good?"
"No."
"Really?" I'm going to hold off anyway."
"Fine. Suit yourself."

"You want it, baby, don't you?"
(this sends her off into another gale of giggles)

"OW!"
"What?"
"My legs! What are you doing now?"
"Just roll over." (now in a spread out doggie-style) "I'm gonna do it 'till my legs give."
"God. I look like a frog."
"Who cares?"

And after, the guy comes up with the realization of the ages: "You know what? All those videos are a bunch of bull. They just keep going on and on. We only did it for about 5 minutes."
The pillow talk that follows is sweet and tender. It's too bad the film didn't focus more on these two. There is another pretty good scene toward the end, and 5-6 more filler action between various other cast (one which includes the fascinating line: "Um, to tell you the truth, my ass is not that clean."), but the ones described above win the movie.
