Review Anyone remember the show Picket Fences?

I am nearly half way done with the first season.

Until about a month ago I don't think I had seen an episode all the way through

have never heard of it, but here's a trailer!

It certainly seems a bit off the wall, perhaps inspired by the Twin Peaks suburban wierdsville kind of vibe?

Perhaps. Though I admit I have only seen a few minutes here and there of Twin Peaks.


I'm glad it's good so far. When I got the DVDs it was pretty much a blind buy.

It may have taken some inspiration, but it's very different. It had more of a Northern Exposure style irreverence to it, but not quite as quirky. Tom Skerritt was great in it.
