Full Trailer: Manga Adaptation “Bleach”





Following a brief teaser earlier this year, a full trailer has now emerged for the live-action adaptation of Tite Kubo’s classic manga and anime franchise “Bleach”.

The story of the comic follows a teenage boy who becomes a Soul Reaper when a female member of that order bestows her powers on him during a fight with an evil spirit. Now he must escort the souls of the dead and protect the living.

Set to hit Japanese screens in July this year, Shinsuke Sato helms the film which stars Sota Fukushi as Ichigo Kurosaki and Hana Sugisaki as Rukia. Warner Bros. Japan is backing the film which has yet to set a U.S. release.

CoMix Wave Films, the studio behind the massive critical and commercially successful anime feature “Your Name,” has released the trailer for their next film “Flavors of Youth” which is set to premiere on Netflix on August 4th.

The Japanese/Chinese co-production is helmed by Yoshitaka Takeuchi and takes place in three chapters set in three different cities, the story “explores the simple joys of life through sensual memories and how the beating heart of love cannot be defeated by the flow of time”.

The film is set to have its world premiere at Anime Expo in Los Angeles on July 6th.
