Every time this movie was on tv I would watch it, and it never got old. It's a true classic. Great movie, cast, soundtrack, humour, and cars. This is one of those movies I hope never get's rebooted.

Entertaining coming-of-age drama, and snapshot of adolescent life in a small Californian town in the early Sixties just after graduation. It's
wonderfully evoked, sharp and funny and recreates the era with real fondness (with a humdinger of a soundtrack of rock n’ roll hits from the time). It feels like a time of innocence before Vietnam and the Cultural Revolution.
