    Review Friends (1994)

There's a Britcom section for TV but not a general comedy section so I'm putting this here. Who were your favourite characters? Your favourite episodes? Were they on a break?

    Review The Time Machine (1960)

A man's vision for a utopian society is disillusioned when travelling forward into time reveals a dark and dangerous society. On to the next version...... THE TIME MACHINE (1978) https://www.imdforums.com/threads/the-time-machine-1978.6412/ Or jump to the new adaption in...

    Review Big (1988)

Another classic. The big piano scene will live forever. But in hindsight, was a 12 year old boy (in a man's body) having sex with a adult woman a bit... icky?

    Review ASMR

I'm putting this here coz.... um... I guess it has a spiritual aspect. So Automatic Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) is that feeling you get when someone is talking softly and you get a tingling sensation in your head, neck etc. It can be triggered by various other sounds or hand movements etc...

    Review Love Actually (2003)

I have a soft spot for this film; especially the Colin Firth segment. Apparently they've filmed a mini sequel for Comic Relief.

    Review The Warriors (1979)

Absolute Classic. I'm stunned they've never butchered this with a remake (yet). If you haven't seen It, you probably have seen parodies of the radio host.

    Review Marnie (1964)

One of my favourite films. I know a lot of people think Hitch had lost it by the time he made this but I personally love it. Some will point to the stylized backdrops that had long since gone out of fashion, as well as the simplistic psychological aspect of Marnie's trauma. Then of course...

Review Only Angels Have Wings (1939)

My favourite Grant dramatic role. Starring opposite Jean Arthur and an early role for Rita Hayworth.

Review Arsenic and Old Lace (1944)

Possibly my favourite Grant comedy. Released in 1944 but actually filmed in 1941 (they waited for the stage play to finish its run). Grant always thought his performance was too hammy but that's precisely what it needed.

    Review Bringing Up Baby (1938)

Grant and Hepburn's third collaboration. Another classic. Apparently Christopher Reeve based his Clark Kent on this Grant performance.

    Review Holiday (1938)

Another favourite of mine. His second outing with Hepburn. Check out Grant's acrobatic background coming in handy in the video.

    Review The Awful Truth (1937)

Grant had been in a few big films before this but The Awful Truth (which was a huge hit) launched his career big time and resulted in a number of castings as the comedy lead man. There was no looking back for him after this.

Review The Return of the Living Dead (1985)

Not sure if this is technically horror as there's a lot of dumb humour in it but it did scare the absolute crap out of me when I was young. Tarman was especially horrific (the way he wobbled about). The two sequels don't hold up that well but this one is a genuine classic. I highly recommend it...

    Review They Live (1988)

This is such a great film in my opinion. Still hugely underrated. I came to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I'm all outta bubble gum.

    Fun Change A Letter Game

Change one letter in a four letter word to create a new word until the end of time. Example: First player - Sent Second player - Seat Third player - Beat And so on... Park

    Review Quantum Leap (1989)

I adored this when it was first on but on recent viewings, it doesn't always hold up. Once you get over the... oh boy... moment, you'd often just end up with a dull story about a 1950s housewife. Great theme tune too. Thoughts?

Review The Man From Earth (2007)

Anyone seen this? The Man From Earth was written by Jerome Bixbie and tells the story of a man who has been alive for thousands of years (moving on to a new location each time he feels people will start to notice he isn't aging). It's essentially set in one room (which would explain why it's...

    My favourite actor.

    Review I'm Alan Partridge.

I quote this almost daily. So funny. You fill in the pond with concrete, you plough the family into the field, you blow up the tree and use the leaves to make a dress for your wife, who's also your brother.
