Review Voice From the Past: Episode 23

Voice From the Past has some bad CSO and Blake seems to be distracted from reaching Star One for some unidentified reason (at least at first) and his yoga sessions with Jenna need a lot of work on them! I always wondered why they didn't try to get Robert James back but apparently they did and he...

    Review Blake's 7 (1978)

What did it feel like to be beamed up like that, Doc? HaHaHa I've always loved that Federation trooper outfit! That mask, which they slightly altered in the third series was so iconic to the show! Although that double hairdryer spaceship sadly never worked for me! JB

    Review Classic Doctor Who

Well that theory is out of date, Doc, with John hurt's recent passing! But is he really considered a Doctor? Well in my humble opinion, not really but more so than this Jodie Whit character! Colin has to be serious about the polls! Twin Dilemma was a bad start for his Doctor and that's a fact...

    Review Classic Doctor Who

Tragic that Jon Pertwee would die soon after this interview and before the McGann movie would air in May 96! JB

    Review Babylon 5 (1994)

That's an old argument and one that I cannot really answer as I've only seen the first season and a few episodes of DS9 but I have seen the entirety of B5! JB

News JAMES BOND: No Time to Die (2021)

Well Craig would win wouldn't he just like the BBC protected Tom Baker over Graham Williams back in the seventies! Upset your star and he walks out and you've no show, but you can always replace a director or a producer any old day of the week, Doc! JB

    Review The Capaldi Doctor

I was never happy with a new regeneration cycle being offered to The Master in the Five Doctors either! Especially as it had been stated in The Deadly Assassin that thirteen lives was the limit and no plan could postpone death! Not even being granted a new cycle of lives from the Government...

    Review Doctor Who (2005)

    Review The Capaldi Doctor

Sadly I've no real interest in Capaldi or his era which was crap! I know it's not his fault as such and he did try to salvage something from it but he acted that drivel so you know... JB

    Fun Star Trek: Discovery (2017)

Captain Pike who isn't actually the Captain Pike we know of and isn't the Captain Pike from the JJ movies but then Discovery isn't the Trek series we remember from the sixties but neither is the JJ movies but..so that confirms it isn't set in the same continuity!!! And of course when Spock turns...

Fun Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987)

    Review The Colin Baker Doctor

We were lucky back in 1975 as we could watch Space 1999, the new ITV series on Thursday nights on ATV where as everyone else had to miss it if they were more interested in Doctor Who on BBC1! Then after Who had finished then we could rewatch a bit of the Space 1999 episode again! :emoji_laughing: JB

Review Voice From the Past: Episode 23

You think I haven't sneeffed you aht?? Classic Croucheristic Croucherisms in 1979!!! One move, Just one move! HaHaHaHa As funny as he was I would have still preferred Grief! :emoji_grinning: JB

    Review The Colin Baker Doctor

Very funny indeed although I doubt that Leonard Nimoy had ever heard of Blakes 7 to be honest! I knew that Gerry Anderson would go mad when the words Doctor Who were used though.... JB

    Fun Carry On!

Well I mean some of the people or things they quote in the films are a dig at things going on at the time and mean nothing to young people today especially when you have to tell them the person they're talking about died some forty five years ago! The only Carry On my daughter ever liked was...

Review KOLCHAK: "THE RIPPER" - Episode 01

I liked the Go-Go gals at the beginning of the episode and think that maybe the girl who got murdered could have been Cathy Paine, known for the voice of CORA in an early episode of Battlestar Galactica! but I could be so wrong...:emoji_nerd: JB

News JAMES BOND: No Time to Die (2021)

Any truth to a rumour I heard about regenerating secret agents and Danny Boyle pulling out of the film because of it? Or was it all a load of codswallop? :emoji_scream: JB

    Review Jurassic Park III (2001)

Not as good no, but better than The Lost World! My only picks being how easily the Tyrannosaurus was killed and the amount of times that prehistoric monsters tend to turn around and face the screen after hearing their prey in distress! The Spinosaurus was excellent though even if he was stronger...

    Review Beyond Westworld (1980)

I remember this show from hot afternoons in the early eighties! Wasn't that good really, just a robot spy of the week and how to take over the world plot show! I did like the baddie's female robot who used to turn up in a few episodes though but I can't remember her name! Anyone? JB

    Review Jurassic Park (1993)

Jurassic World wasn't a patch on Jurassic Park! I still can't believe the dislike that the third film gets as I would put that one in second place after Jurassic Park and before The Lost world! JB
