Titanic (1997) - 194 minutes
I saw that in the cinema with my mother and my ex.

Now, one is dead and the other is dead to me.
I'll say this - that was an easy movie to sit through. In those days, I could sit through that movie drinking a huge bottle of water and didn't need to go to the bathroom once.
Yes, the film even provided enough ice for everyone.

So convenient! :emoji_wink:

MCCANICK (2013) 3/5.

An extremely average American film that's part crime drama and part mystery thriller. It was written by Daniel Noah, produced by Ehud Bleiberg, David Morse and Josh C Waller - who also directed it. It stars David Morse, Mike Vogel, Trevor Morgan, Ciarán Hinds and the late Cory Monteith. This was one of Cory Monteith's final feature film roles before his untimely death. It's a disjointed and uneven film, but I still found it contained enough of a plot to maintain my interest - but only just.

And that is life

Trying to keep sane
As the rules keep changing"

But I'm not so good at that, but how about this? If you have seen both La La Land and Moonlight, which is better in your opinion? Did Moonlight deserve the Oscar win? I just saw that one and thought it was good but not THAT great.

Hmm - I hoped you meant both warm as in getting close, and because Africa - well, they were sweltering on that boat.
OK only other Bogart/ Bacall film I can think of is The Big Sleep - if it's not that I give in !

O BROTHER, WHERE ART THOU? (2000) 5/5.

An absolutely brilliant adventure film that was written, produced and directed by Joel Coen and his brother, Ethan Coen. The film is set in 1937, in rural Mississippi, during the Great Depression and is loosely based upon THE ODYSSEY by Homer. It stars George Clooney, John Turturro, Tim Blake Nelson, Chris Thomas King, Charles Durning, Michael Badalucco, John Goodman, Holly Hunter and Stephen Root. Much of the excellent musical soundtrack by T Bone Burnett consists of period-specific folk music. The Coen Brothers seldom fail to deliver and this is certainly one of their better efforts. The story, the humour and the music all combine together perfectly, to produce a highly enjoyable and sometimes mesmerizing experience.
