Watching this as a kid, I always thought the animated opening credits looked much better than the rest of the TV show.

And I still do.

This is true. The 50s, 60, 70s...

It wasn't until the 80s that things started to change.

There are modern TV shows I enjoy, but none of them quite have the feel or the magic that the best ones did, back in the day.
