Park Bo-Gum is finally coming to Manila this April 27 for a fanmeet.

On the one hand, I would love to see him in the flesh because duh but then if I was seated on Mt. Everest he’d look just like a walking lamp post from afar so I think I’ll go get the VIP ticket if I want to see him up close but then I really don’t like fanmeets because it doesn’t really show the real person of the artist. Its just painted smiles, choreographed encounters, photo-ops, lip service to tease the fans, etc. not to mention there'll be legions of fans in attendance there but then if I don’t go now when will I ever see him (Koreans usually flock to my place because they like the beaches here but I don’t have powerful radars to know when he’s coming). Orrrrr………………………..I could just create a scene by pretending to faint and when he finally comes to see what the commotion is, I’ll pull that ring on my pocket and propose marriage.

I'm trying to think who I've paid money to see in person. The author Stephen King comes to mind.

I did have a date with Drew Barrymore, though, back about 20 years ago. Well, sortof a date. We had a playful time together.

@plsletitrain Yes, by all means, do go. If nothing else, you'll meet someone who you have such love and respect for. I'm still pissed that I had to work a couple of years ago when Stan Lee was in my home state, and I never got to meet him.

Don't be surprised if Park Bo-Gum announces his engagement on April 27, 'kay? *blush*

Got a ticket already! But its not the nearest as I may have been quite late in procuring. lol But its the second nearest so hopefully I can see him close enough so my plan of proposing marriage can come into fruition. :emoji_couple_with_heart:

And I really can't understand women. I can't understand people. lol. Like how when a hot man goes shirtless and women go OMFG I feel like dying..Wutt????????? The hell is my business with that man's stomach and navel? Props to him for making the gym as his second home but I'm not losing my breath seeing man abs.

And same with women throwing bras and panties to actors on stage? Wut, you think the actor will smother his face with your underwear?????

Okay so the ring is ready, my proposal speech is ready, my (neighbor's) panties are ready............and the fanmeet gets postponed! Because an earthquake happened in Manila last Monday so the fanmeet is moved to June 22. Okay so there goes my plane ticket thrown out the window lol. Okay I understand, safety first. Its just a bit hard for those of us from the province because we have to book flights and hotels but I'll be fine.
