Along the way, they will be helped by their families, old friends and a few music legends. Original franchise writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon are back for the new film with director Dean Parisot helming the project which begins filming shortly.
Bill Sadler Returns For Third “Bill & Ted”

Orion Pictures has announced that actor William Sadler will reprise his role of Death in the upcoming “Bill & Ted Face the Music,” the third installment in the time-travelling comedy franchise.
Sadler portrayed Death in the 1991 sequel “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey”. In that film, the titular heroes are killed by robotic clones of themselves and must play games against the Grim Reaper in order to come back to life. The pair win and enlist Death’s help to defeat their enemies.
Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter recently posted a video message thanking fans for their support and confirming the long in the works third film will begin shooting this summer.
Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon have penned the script with Dean Parisot set to helm. Scott Kroopf, Alex Lebovici and Steve Ponce will produce and Steven Soderbergh executive produces. Orion Pictures has set an August 21st 2020 release date.
Many have been wondering when we’ll see the first trailer for the long-awaited “Bill & Ted Face the Music” and now Orion Pictures and actor Alex Winter have teased something related to the movie is coming tomorrow.
Winter says: “Tuesday is Bill & Ted day, just sayin’ @BillandTed3”, while the film’s official account has also said “Strange Things Are Afoot” along with re-tweeting Winter’s statement. Whatever it is, we’ll find out tomorrow. [Source: Twitter]
“Bill and Ted Face the Music” has been moved up by a week – the film now taking the old August 14th release slot that “Wonder Woman 1984” occupied.
