Quotes from attendees at today's convention.....
Ian's panel was very good. He was warm and generous, candid and open.
On Phil Morris he said that he (Ian) believed that PM has 90 missing episodes.
He condemned PM for keeping his cards close to his chest.
"I hate the secrecy, it's not fair to Doctor Who fans," he said.
Ian talked about how someone (sorry didn't catch who but suspect Waris Hussein) had been led to believe back in 2013 that Marco Polo was back.
"Morris told him not to buy it. Here we are in 2017 and we've still not got Marco Polo back," Ian said.
He also said something along the lines of his catchphrase: "I want to be wrong on 97 missing episodes". This got a large round of applause.
Sue Malvern was lovely too, confirming Ian's recollections of how he found or helped to find missing episodes.
It was all jolly natured and the 45 minutes flew by so quickly no time for questions.
Message from. Morris just read out. He sends apologies, says his schedule has been all over the shop after complications to his wife's pregnancy (healthy baby girl now).
He is now catching up and is in the Middle East.
After a message of support for Manchester, he added: "enjoy today to the max."
There was some lukewarm applause after the statement.

Showing up at 33:28 to 38:15, the first part seems like new material, the rest of it is just clipped from the original downtime. Only done so as to add Sylvester McCoy into Downtime.
Death Comes to Time
This is a peculiar one, appearing at 38:18 to 44:23.
Destiny of the Doctors
We’re almost to the end of Levine’s marathon compilation. This one 44:26 to 47:03.
This seems to be a wraparound plot for a 1997 computer game called ‘Destiny of the Doctors.’ In that game, the Master has taken over the planet Siralos, a world made from ‘pure psychic energy’ where he kidnaps the seven incarnations of the Doctor. Luckily, the Doctor (Doctors?) create a psychic being called the Graak, a sort of agile jellyfish who is the player’s character, to get them out of the jam. The Graak wanders around the Tardis, performing various tasks and trying to stay out of the way of, or defeat, Sontarans, Yeti, Zygons, Sea Devils, Silurians, Cybermen, Daleks, Ice Warriors, Quarks, Autons and Raston Warrior Robots.
Anthony Ainley appeared in voice and video clips as the Master. His collected clips from the game appear on the DVD for survival. All of the surviving Doctors except McGann – Tom Baker, Colin Baker, McCoy and Davison appear (audio only) in the game, as does the Nicholas Courtney as the Brigadier. Pertwee was represented by dialogue snipped from his serials, while Troughton and Hartnell’s Doctors voices were played by David Coker.
What we have here is Ian Levine’s attempt to incorporate the game into a narrative based episode or fan video by shooting extra footage and wrap around footage, and maybe editing the heck out of it all.

Ian Levine seems to be obsessed with - somewhat eccentrically - filling in narrative gaps for the BBC.
And the BBC seem to be obsessed with not noticing Ian Levine at all.
He's offered them this stuff for free, but, so far, no luck. I think it sadly just falls short of being high enough quality.
So, when all's said and done, I can't say I blame the BBC.

Fans attempted a "reimagining" a few years back, until the BBC clamped down on it.
I can't shake the feeling that, at the end of the day, it is simply a vanity project on the part of the actor who has, presumably cast himself as The Doctor.

Phillip Morris, who found ENEMY and WEB and has long been suspected of hoarding MARCO POLO and perhaps others has scored an own goal by attacking a rival episode hunter on Twitter, by dredging up a silly letter the guy wrote when he was 14 and using it to attack the man's character now....

Yes I've seen this on there today as well but it's got to be a hoax as BBC2 would never screen Tenth Planet without any pre-publicity and let us not forget it's black and white status and ability to make them even more money by placing it on I-Tunes first!

There is a thread on the Planet Mondas forum where people discuss why Mr.Morris is hoarding all the episodes that he has found on his travels! With many people believing he has notable episodes stashed away and is his own worst enemy and reasons for why he's not releasing any information to the fans!

Yeah, I am on there as Cygnus Prime.
That book doesn't sound too interesting to me, with the focus being on why he has not returned them. The psychology of Morris is not something I am sure I want to delve into. But at least in the podcast the author as good as confirms that Morris does have more.
