I understand, mate. You've got that whole collapse of civilization thing to deal with, plus you want to watch THE WALKING DEAD too...
Sad part is, I'm so frakking far behind on TWD. I should get caught up, but again, time is of the essence. Plus, as you said, collapse of civilization, and what not.

Which may or may not be the title of my forthcoming memoirs.

In your ..."preciuos bible"they talking about the ressurection of the dead,so why not
Well, ummm... gee. When did I ever refer to it as "my precious Bible"????????

And my problem is not with the storyline. I could care less about "the resurrection of the dead". I'm just not a fan of TV shows that are all about mankind turning on each other for whatever the reason. I've already stated that I stopped watching GoT after the "Red Wedding". We get enough of that kind of behavior in real life (back-stabbing, power-grabbing, manipulation, the abuse of authority and so forth), so I just don't regard it as "entertaining".

:emoji_kiss::emoji_dancer:

But then, I don't like the show "Survivor" either.........

I was wondering that myself. :emoji_confused:

I mean, I accept without question that you're a goddess, but that's another matter entirely. :emoji_innocent:

These days, fiction has a hard time keeping up with reality.

I can't say that I ever cared for it myself.

I much prefer SURVIVORS from 1975.

I didn't want to offend you or anyone else,i just thought that it's kinda funny...many people reject the idea of zombies but in the same time they wait the ressurection of the dead.

Well then I'm happy to say that I'm not "many people"!

Yeah!!!!!!!!! :emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers:

I just don't like shows that glorify what I find as being the most despicable behavior mankind is capable of. I don't care if anyone else watches it and my husband is a huge fan of both TWD & The California "Well Tanned Dead" (or whatever it's called :emoji_wink: ). He is also a huge fan of GoT and has watched Survivor since episode one..... We've agreed to disagree and one or the other of us just leaves the room (usually me and usually with a book in my hand). I understand that they are hugely popular shows, I personally just kinda regard it as junk TV.......

It resembles too much of what I hear on the news, read in papers and listen to on the radio and I don't find people treating each other like crap entertaining. I will admit that when I heard Geoffrey (Game of Thrones) had been murdered, I agreed that he had it coming. But I'm pretty sure I wasn't watching at the time..... It's just not my thing.

I'd rather watch some Dude cruise around the Galaxy in a Blue Box that is smaller on the outside than it is on the inside! Or see what's up in Gene Roddenberry's neighborhood, Or (and this works for me because it's "Supernatural") wish that John Logan had pulled his head out of his.... ahem..... "behind" and saved Penny Dreadful because to me, that was magnificent programming! Or watch some of the Marvel Superhero movies (although I confess to being all a twitter over the upcoming DC's Aquaman!) or anything else along those lines.

Yes, they have violence in them and yes some of it is weird, over-the-top and gore-filled. But for the most part, none of it is in anything that is even vaguely "reality" based..... I also, by the way, loved season 1 of "Lucifer". I thought it was some of the most creative TV I'd seen on air in years. I think TE is brilliant and that's one of the reasons I'd really like to see him at the controls of the TARDIS for a season or 5!!!!

So I watch unusual programming too and some of it is absolutely downright bloody and monstrous! But the key is: "Monsters". I like monsters, the supernatural, science fiction and the like. I also watched the Alice Croft Movies because Raccoon City and whatever company that funded it was more Horror/Sci-Fi to me than anything else. Got and TWD (to me) seem to try too hard to focus on "keeping it real" and I've met guys in real life who'd like nothing better than to become a "Governor" or a "President" in order to take advantage of everyone else they could just because they could do it..... Hell, it's happening in my country right now.

So I'll take the fake monsters thank you very much! Life is tough enough as it is with a real one already in the White House!

Well Alice, you lost me.....

Does your reply mean that my explanation was unnecessary altogether; or that in itself it could have been better? I was just trying to explain myself in a response to a comment I didn't think should be applied to me in the first place (about the Bible and how could I believe in that and not believe in zombies when I don't recall ever talking to you about the Bible in the first place), with a more complete answer that I hoped would clarify things and now I get.... "could be better".

I guess I'm not sure what you're actually looking for and how in the world I could have put it more clearly or if perhaps I shouldn't have bothered at all. I was honestly just trying to be polite and at this point I'm lost in the tall grass trying to figure out exactly what you were asking and if I didn't answer it, than what else are you looking for?

There you go again with the angel emoji. Just exactly what does a stimulated angel do?

Flutter their wings until... they take off...?

That's not an angel emoticon, it's an "innocence" emoticon.

I am - and always have been - completely innocent. :emoji_wink:

No problems here at all Alice! I know we're dealing with a language difference which makes things complicated from the get-go so I wasn't upset at all. I know your heart is in the right place. I just wanted to make sure I hadn't done anything to offend you and if I had, I wanted to clear it up immediately!

:emoji_kiss::emoji_dancer: Have some DBs just for fun and a smile for us both! :emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers::emoji_dancers:
