His early Thames TV stuff I think was the best. Mr Angry, Sid Snot, Marcel, who can forget them?

I used to love The Kenny Everett Show as a kid/early teen. Sadly, my mother was not a fan so I had to sneak in my viewing when she was out of the room.

Never had that problem myself.

In fact, mum actually found one or two of his jokes funny.

I liked the Thames series a lot but it wasn't until he switched to the BBC and he brought in Cleo Rocos that I really became a fan!
