More I watch this more I love it, Eric Chappell at his best as a writer. This comes close to being as good as Rising Damp.
Bernard Hepton as J.F. is excellent, almost as memorable as that other initial renown character C.J. from Reggie Perrin.

Philip Madoc appears in this one. The usual top script here, but I must mention Bernard Hepton. He is terrific in this show, later in his career he was excellent as Albert Foiret in BBC's wartime series Secret Army.
