First Photo: Alan Moore’s “The Show”

A first look photo has been released from British independent movie “The Show” which is based on an original story by “Watchmen” and “From Hell” graphic novel creator Alan Moore.
Tom Burke (“Only God Forgives,” “War and Peace”) stars as Fletcher Dennis (Burke), who has been hired to track down a stolen artefact. This leads him to a haunted town in England that has collapsed into a black hole of dreams. A world of “dead lotharios, comatose sleeping beauties, voodoo gangsters, masked adventurers, unlikely 1930s private eyes and violent chiaroscuro women.”
Siobhan Hewlett, Ellie Bamber, Richard Dillane, Sheila Atim and Moore himself also star in the project which is Moore’s first original feature film screenplay. Director Mitch Jenkins is now shooting the film in the U.K. while Jim Mooney, Mike Elliott and Tom Brown are producing.
