The man who wrote les Miserables gives us this amazing tale. Here presented in illustration from the Classic comics of the 1950s. It is a tale of kindness and cruelty, set in the England of the Queen Anne period. There is no music to this video as the nature of the procedure would interrupt at every pause. Put on your own choice of music or just relax and have a quiet read. It would have been easy to conceal the appearance of the boys face till described in the written book, but to conceal it for so long in illustrated form was masterfully done in the Classic comics artwork. Drawn by Alex A. Blum, though much of it closely resembling the 1928 film. The face of the boy was toned down so as not to frighten the young readers. yet still has an impact.
