I love the humour in this western classic. This movie gets confused with the other movie Support
Your Local Sheriff. The funny thing is the titles are similar, same cast to a degree, different stories, and not a sequel. I never get tired of watching this movie.

Sorry HPD.... "Sheriff" will always be my favorite of the two (although I do like Susanne Pleschete best out of the two actresses) and you've just reminded me that I'm long overdue for a rewatch!!! They are both perfectly cast, acted and shot and come with screenplays that are just plain genius.

Thanks Buddy! The two of them are some of the best examples of "The Western" ever and are also in a category all their own.
Thank goodness no one has ever had the ridiculous notion of remaking either of them! James Garner rocks in a role like this and is nothing short of a comedic miracle.

And where the hell is a good picture/cartoon of a small canon when you need one!?............
