Lovely, just lovely. Helen Slater was the best Supergirl ever. That mix between childish innocent and somewhat sexy outfit & outlook was for me, an instant crash when I was young. I'm still in love with the Supergirl in that movie.
I was 8 when this came out, and remember being entertained by it. I attempted to watch it a couple of years ago, and feeling somewhat underwhelmed (why isn't anyone just "whelmed"?). Still a fun movie, but for me, it doesn't hold up.
Looking back, it seems strange that they always showed off those obvious symbols of New York, including the Statue of Liberty, yet insisted on calling it Metropolis.
