Your thoughts on this movie....

Luke Skywalker joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a Wookiee and two droids to save the galaxy from the Empire's world-destroying battle station, while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia from the evil Darth Vader.

On to the next movie......

When did it officially start being called "A New Hope?"
When he re-released it to theatres, and found out that he would, indeed, be able to make a sequel. But even then, most people still referred to it as STAR WARS, since that was all they ever put on video cases. It wasn't really till the 90s, when the special editions came out, and the video cases all had A NEW HOPE on them. Plus, all electronic media at the time started referring to it as such, and Lucas pretty much insisted it be called such.

Love that one, Doc - not that I've ever seen a bad Honest Trailer -
Tell tiny wees today who don't remember when Star Wars was a film and not a franchise, how amazing, exciting, unexpected and glorious it was - they'd probably say - duh.
And I love the Family Guy versions too - poor Meg....
